It is without a doubt, that the most important clothing item for a Midwestern winter is a solid coat, or in my case, ten. Over the years, I've amassed a good collection of faux fur coats, wool coats, and parkas. This year is no different. And on the eve of a potential move south, I am not slowing down. Coat shopping is one of my guilty pleasures. I love bundling up in a statement coat, jacket, faux fur stole and no matter where we move, most likely I will be keeping most of my collection and saving them for a ski trip somewhere in Lake Tahoe or the Alps.
