Silk and romance

I'm in love - with a shirt that is.

I have fallen head over heels for this silk organza blouse by Boudicca that I bought from Yoox. I've found very little information about the brand, other than that it was made in Italy and is gorgeous. The sheer silk creates an ethereal gossamer glow in a surreal lavender which is made even more sublime by the structured neck bow tie. Ok, so I'm swooning. This is one of those pieces that doesn't fall into any trend and becomes an instant classic. J'adore!

I kept raving about this blouse to my hubz but he kept giving me a blank stare. Oh the things our men just don't understand! I love sheer blouses but don't have enough to wear underneath them, so I wore my bustier I wore for my wedding. So now I have to hunt for more delicate lingerie. Maybe hubz can agree with that.

Did you know that lady bugs bite? I didn't, until the mean little bugs kept biting me during our walk through the arboretum. Not so nice, little ladies.
